MARTIN BEAUVAIS

June 9, 1982 - August 5, 2018

It is with a heavy heart the family announce the sudden passing of Martin Beauvais on August 5, 2018 at the age of 36.

Martin was born in Ottawa, Ontario June 9, 1982.

Martin will be loved and missed by his mother Suzanne: spouse Tanya; daughters Lydia, Avah, Amariah; step daughter Shyah; brothers in law Curtis (Ashley), Ebow (Jackie); uncles Rjean, Michel; aunties Joanne, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Martin was special man who only wanted the best in life.  This was mostly for his family as he embraced and lived for them, especially, his three daughters and his mother.   Every day he worked hard to attain certain goals that sometimes would seem to other to be unachievable; however somehow, he would find a way to achieve them.  His perseverance and determination was like none other.

Martin worked as a chef for many years and was an amazing cook. He could turn the simplest dish into a fine cuisine.  His last place of employment was for Outland Camps for Manitoba Hydro in Grand Rapids, MB, where he worked as Executive Chef. He worked there for 3 years and loved being able to use his creative cooking skills, trying new and different dishes with the employees.  He was very passionate about what he did whether it was at work or at home.

Martin had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh that you could never forget.  When he thought something was funny, you could hear him from a mile away.  With that being said, he also loved to talk.  The man could talk for hours.  You could ask him one simple question and the answer would be a 20 minute reply.  However, that is what made him so special.  That is what made him who he was.  No one who has ever met could ever forget him.  He was and will always be unforgettable.

So today we say goodbye but one day we will meet again.

Celebration of Life Service was held on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at 603 Wellington Crescent.
