With heavy hearts, we announce that Gail, passed away on August 28, 2019 under the loving care of the staff at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 70 years.

She was predeceased by her father George, sister Allyne, brother Donald and family friend Len.

Gail worked for over 40 years at Manitoba Hydro in the Accounts Payable and Purchasing Dept, where she made life long lasting friendships with Val, Karen, June, and Nettie. She dedicated much of her retired years ensuring her mom, Alecia enjoyed an active lifestyle out at ceramics, church gatherings, getting her nails done and attending family concerts, musicals, sports events, birthday and holiday get-togethers. She enjoyed the companionship of her feline children Bart and Willow.

Family was very important to Gail and she was always around to celebrate special occasions. She lovingly showed her great nephews and nieces support in all of their activities and she was much-loved in return. Gail was a significant member of her extended family and she will be well remembered as someone who immediately made you feel like you were welcome and belonged.

Gail was expert at crochet and sewing. Those lucky enough to have received a handmade gift were in awe of her attention to detail and creative flair.

She was a generous, caring friend; who loved the Christmas season, Tai chi, and dining out with friends ...she could never have enough cinnamon on her baby apple waffle! Gail was generous with her time and would lend a hand wherever one was needed. Gail was a longtime member of The United Church in Meadowood and volunteered many hours there.

In Accordance with their wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
