October 24, 1955 – July 17, 2019

On July 17 Gerald has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior.

He leaves to celebrate his memory his sons Justin and Graham, daughter Holly (Aaron) grandchildren Abel and Wren, as well as their Mother Sylvia. His brother Martin and sister Dolores (Cody and Angel) also numerous extended family and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother Gladys and father Stanley.

During his lifetime Gerald worked for Nutty Club, Safeway, Western Egg, Maple Leaf and Schneider’s.

Since an early age, Gerald enjoyed sports, whether it be playing or watching. But what gave him the most joy was coaching his children in hockey, baseball and soccer.

Gerald enjoyed travelling with his family and friends and had a wide variety of music interests.

In accordance with his wishes Cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private celebration of life.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at HSC and cancer care.

The family would also like to thank everyone at Union Gospel Mission for the encouragement, friendship and fellowship they had shown Gerald.

Friends and relatives are encouraged to share in a photo-tribute, eulogy, stories and condolences for the family by using the comments section of this page.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald’s memory to Union Gospel Mission, 320 Princess St. Winnipeg, MB.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
