Peggy Kidd, beloved wife of the late Stewart Kidd, passed away at her home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, April 29, 2023 at the age of 89 years. 

 

Born in a farmhouse on October 23, 1933, Peggy was raised in Saskatchewan and British Columbia.  She married Stewart Kidd of Vandura in 1960, and settled on his farm in the Brookside district where they raised four children.  They sold the farm in 1976 and moved to Moosomin and later lived in Winnipeg before retiring in Anola, Manitoba.

 

Peggy was predeceased by:

• her parents, William and Clara

• her husband Stewart

• her siblings Roy (Alvena), Evelyn (Alex), Bill (Lil), and Don

• her son-in-law Jean-Paul

 

She is survived by:

• her bother Calvin (Karen)

• her sister-in-law Ruth

• her children, Sharel, Jim (Heather), Bob, and Paulette (Larry)

• her grandchildren, Robbie, Jason (Naomi), Joelle (Jon), and Ben (Emily)

• her great grandchildren, Joan, Louis, and two more on the way

 

She was a good mom.

 

The immediate family will gather for a memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Peggy.
