KATHY LISTON

April 22, 1935 - March 20, 2023

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mom (Kathy) at the Grace Hospital with her loving children at her side.

 

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Bill Liston; grandchildren, Devon and Trevor; siblings, Bev, Janice, Wayne, Harold, and Joyce. She will always be in the hearts of her loving children, Micheal (Joan), Debbie (Rick), Kim (Don), Donnie, and Tammy (Raymond); as well as her sister Shirley Ann.

 

In the 70s, mom got a job up north in Gillam, MB. supervising the kitchen for Crawley. This is where she met the love of her life, Bill Liston. Once the job was completed, they moved to B.C. together. They continued to travel and enjoy life together. Bill fell ill and mom took care of him at home until his passing. She then moved back to Winnipeg.

 

Mom was a beautiful person.

 

She loved to cook for friends at the German club, and also cooked for the less fortunate. Everyone enjoyed her cooking.
