JAMES ("JIM") KEITH LOTHIAN
September 20, 1956 - July 22, 2022
With heavy hearts, we announce that Jim Lothian passed away on July 22, 2022 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 65 years.
He is survived by his mother Joyce Davidson, pre-deceased by his father Warren (Bud) Lothian, three brothers Robert, Kevin, Darren (Gina), nieces and nephews Crystal, Alia, Meghan, Christopher, Warren, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, extended family and friends including his Windsor Plywood Family.
Jim grew up in Edmonton where his 45 plus year career in the lumber and building material industry began and eventually purchased a Windsor Plywood store in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Jim loved to travel and had many adventures. He had a great love for scuba diving and anything with a motor. He loved his motorcycles most. The most important thing to Jim was always the people around him and he would often reach out to help when he believed he could make a difference.
Jim was a Gold level member of “Ride For Dad” and member of “The Captains Club” where he donated his time and raised money to fight against Prostate Cancer. He generously donated to charities including World vision, Siloam Mission to name a few.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ride for Dad, The Diabetes Association or Mental Illness Association.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm on September 23 at Trinity Funeral Home (10530 - 116 Street, Edmonton, AB).
