CATHERINE ROSE RIEU
(née SMITH)
September 14, 1957 – January 26, 2022
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Rose Rieu (nee Smith) on January 26, 2023. With family by her side and peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy battle with Cancer.
Cathy was predeceased by her husband, Kirk; father Calvin; mother Grace; and brother Calvin Jr.
Cathy will be greatly missed and always cherished by her brother Roy (Louise) and her large group of extended family and friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Pat Harris for her kindness, guidance, and care to Cathy over the last six years.
In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be spread with those of her husband Kirk.
