Another Angel Got Her Wings
It is with a heavy heart that the family announces Brittany's passing at the age of 30 years.
Brittany fought so extremely hard but lost her battle due to complications from Covid-19. She was a beautiful kind and young lady whose heart was big.
She loved deeply and she was a blessing to our family. Her family loved her so much and will miss her smile, her laugh, and her warm heart. We will all miss you greatly. “RIP our sweet girl.”
Brittany will be lovingly remembered, and never forgotten, by her mother Suzanne Rilling; father Gary Pawliw (Shannon); grandparents, Dale and Jeannine Rilling and Don and Leah Pawliw; aunt's and uncles, Christine and John Swain and Melanie and Steven Hofer; cousins, Anita and Eric Vandal, Robert and Kaiden Vandal, Jordan, and Kayla and Brooke Hofer; and boyfriend Jonathan Walashek. In addition to her immediate family, Brittany will be missed by her great-aunts and uncles, extended cousins, and many friends. She was predeceased by her uncle Rickey Pawliw.
The family would like to to extend our thank you to all the doctors, specialists, nurses, medical teams in the Covid Ward as well as the chaplain at Grace Hospital, for their compassion and care of Brittany. They also want to extend our thank you to the EIA program and case coordinators who we're always there for Brittany. Finally, a huge thank you to all our family and friends who shared their love, support, and prayers.
In keeping with Brittany’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of her life will be held when it is possible to gather. In the meantime, Brittany’s family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos and/or sharing your own memories and stories using the comment section on this page.
