David is survived by his mother Carol Schroeder; father Brian Schroeder (Jenny Ayers); sister Kristin (Patrice) Chartrand; nephews Émile and Renaud as well as grandparents Henry and Sue Schroeder. He is predeceased by grandparents Lenora and Earl Schmidt.
