With family by her side, Mom peacefully passed away at the age of 89.
Lorraine was born in Winnipeg on August 21,1933. She grew up in Cardale, Grosse Isle and Elkhorn, Manitoba. Lorraine attended Normal School in 1953 where she received her teaching certificate. She started her teaching career in St. James where she met her future husband Lyall Sims. They bought their first home in River Heights where they raised their 4 children and enjoyed 40 years of married life together....
