PERRY RAYMOND RINDAHL
December 23, 1950 – July 29, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband/father Perry Raymond Rindahl who passed away suddenly on July 29th, 2021.
Perry leaves behind Lesley, his wife of 38 years, his children Christopher (Tanis) and Kelsey. Brothers Roy and Daryl, sisters Carla (Dave), Lisa (Bill), Kerry-Lynn and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Theresa and Stan, Grandparents, Florence and Joseph, sister Marlene and brother Stephen.
Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Perry’s family moved back to Winnipeg when he was a young child. He attended Gordon Bell High School.
Perry loved nothing more than a day of fishing with his children when they were young. These outings inevitably ended quickly with the fish remaining safely in the river/lake and with an ice cream supper for the kids. He finally received his Master Angler’s Certificate on November 8, 2018 when he reeled in a Channel Catfish measuring 34½ inches (thanks Louise and Nelson).
Our family was lucky enough to vacation in Mexico in 2010 and again in 2015 which Perry loved and would have made his permanent home if he ever won the lottery.
Perry worked in the Autobody trade for most his adult life, both in Winnipeg and BC, and made many dear friends including Brian, Dave, Tom, Cory and many others who have stayed in contact with him over the years
He had very fond cherished childhood memories of the summers spent at the Hutterite colony where he made lifelong friends and memories.
Perry’s wish was to be cremated and no service will be held at this time. Instead, Perry’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Care or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
