SCHARF, David - Obituary Photo-gigapixel-very_compressed-width-2222px.jpg

May 29, 1980 - December 7, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved David on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at the age of 42.

Left to forever cherish David's memory are his son Jayden, Mother Charlene, Brother Robert (Kristen), sister Janelle (Jay) and girlfriend Annie. David was predeceased by his Father Douglas Scharf on February 2, 2022.

David was born on May 29, 1980 in Winnipeg, MB. He was a very loving, humble, family first kind of man. David's laugh, smile and dance moves would light up the room.

David's pride and joy was his son Jayden, who he loved more than anything. David was a very proud Father and did a great job raising Jayden as a single dad. David was also proud of his renovation business and looked forward to it's success and future.

As per the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

David's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please also consider sharing your own photos, memories and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

It still hasn't really hit me that you're gone. I miss you so much. Thank you for all the talks and all the gifts and random surprises even when you knew you couldn't afford it. Thank you for all the laughs and thank you for always making sure I was okay. I promise to always do good in school and outside of school. I promise to always do my best to do good. I promise to do my best on moving on from this. I just want you to know that nobody is mad. You can rest in peace now. Everyone has you in their hearts forever. Thank you for everything, I love you forever and always.

 - Love Jayden

My Big brother....of all the things you showed me and taught me through the years, you forgot to teach me one thing, how to let you go...I know you didn't mean to leave me. I wish I got to say 'I love you' before you were given to the heavens. Just know this, we have always loved you and was proud of you and always will be. I wore the 'Dave's little bro' badge with honor. Kristen and I love you Dave.

I still can't believe you're gone. Everyone misses you so much, but I find peace knowing you have been reunited with dad up there in heaven. I am truly grateful to be able to call you my brother. I will cherish all the memories I have with you but will most cherish our last visit together and us hugging and saying I love you to each other before you left. You left us way too soon, but your memory will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace Brother.

We love you.

- Janelle & Jay

I cannot begin to tell you how much I miss you. I know this last year was very hard on you, I could see just how much you missed your dad. I know you had a kind and generous heart, and would help anyone if you could. I will cherish the time we had together, I only wish it could have been longer. I want you to know I will take care of Jayden and do whatever I can for him. You have a loving and careing family who will help and be there for one another. Knowing you are with your dad now, and the 2 of you do not need to worry about each other, is helping me get through this.

I love you so much.
