Sasha and Jana's favorite place to visit was French Polynesia, especially Tahiti and Bora Bora. He liked driving and took his family on many road trips across North America, including Yucatan Mexico, Florida, and the Rocky Mountains which was a cherished formative experience for his family.

Sasha is survived by his wife, Jana, her sons Richard and Arthur (Tara), his grandchildren Corwyn and Arwen. His son Philip and grandson Jaxon. His son Alex, granddaughter Katka, great-grandchildren Anna, Matej, Jakub, granddaughter Lucka, great-grandchildren Alzbeta and Eliska.

Sasha's memory will be cherished by his beloved best friend, Ziggy (his dog). He leaves behind a legacy of friendship and kindness, not only to his family but also to his good friends: Jiri Jaterka, Jozef and Silvia Sedlak, Josef Silha, George and Zlata Novak.
