With heavy hearts, we announce that Luis passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 56 years.

 

He is survived by his children Jennifer, Victor, and Luisa and by his beloved sister Noy Alvarenga.

 

Luis was born October 1, 1963 in San Salvador, El Salvador he moved to Winnipeg with his daughter Jennifer and wife to make a better life for his family. In Winnipeg he started to expand his family and decided to stay here to make a name for himself. He worked various jobs to provide for his family when he discovered that he could run his own construction business. He had his best friend Bruno Hiller help start the business and was with him until the very end.  Luis was charismatic and full of life and laughter. He had a passion for making people smile.

 

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
