LORRIE BANMAN

June 23, 1957 – September 23, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorrie Banman, September 23, 2023.

As a cherished member of our family, Lorrie’s presence brought immense joy and love into our lives. She was a devoted mother to Melissa and Shauna Banman, who were the light of her world. Lorrie’s sisters Brenda, Susan, and Karen and brother Bruce were not only siblings but also her closest confidant, sharing countless memories and laughter together.

Lorrie’s grandchildren, Emily and Kyle held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them as if it were her last. Her husband Ron Banman, a pillar of strength and support, was her rock throughout their journey together.

Lorrie’s parents, Maureen and Charles, instilled in her a deep sense of love and resilience, their unwavering love and support shaped the remarkable women she became. Lorrie’s dedication to her work at Canada Post for over 15 years was a testament to her strong work ethic and commitment to her community.

Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Lorrie demonstrated immense bravery and fought with unwavering determination for over a year. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her radiant smile or her positive outlook on life. Lorrie found solace in her love for travel, exploring new places, and creating cherished memories with her loved ones. She also enjoyed the thrill of playing slots at the casino, finding joy in the excitement of each spin.

Lorrie’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but her memory will forever be etched into our minds. Her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love will continue to inspire us all. We take comfort in knowing that Lorrie and Ron are reunited once again, watching over us from above. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

Thank you to all of the staff and doctors at St. Boniface hospital Palliative Care for their kind and compassionate care that they provided to Lorrie throughout her stay.
