Rosalie “Faye” Chartrand, peacefully and comfortably passed away, while at rest in her bed, at Bethania Personal Care Home.

Rosalie “Faye” was born at Benito, Manitoba on September 19,1953. At the young age of 4 the family moved to Winnipeg. Where she was raised and spent her adult life. Rosalie “Faye” had a fun childhood as the oldest in a household of 5 children. She enjoyed trips back to Benito, the farm, by train rides with the family. Rosalie “Faye” had a passion for drawing art and writing poetry. A love for classic horror movies like Vincent Price. Her taste in music included Elvis to CCR to Bruce Springstein. If you were to catch her in her prime. She would be seen cutting it loose on the dance floor.

Rosalie “Faye” was a determined, loving and dedicated mother first and foremost to 2 boys. Raising Scott and Kyle was one of her greatest joy’s in life. Rosalie “Faye” took great pride in becoming a grandmother. With great Love for each of her grandchildren.

As Dementia slowly took her memories away. The care, love and support of many surrounded her. She began this part of her journey with Irene Baron. Then with Bethania Personal Care home. Where she resided for over 11 years.

A special thank you to the many staff and resource supports. Who provided quality of life and care for Rosalie “Faye”.

(Siblings) Don Thomas, Jane Morley (Jeff), Marion Delaronde (Norman), James Thomas (Brenda). (Close Cousin) Kim Armitt(Jeff), (Grandchildren) Jessica, Scott II, Marlene II, Maylene, Shayla, Mark, Danielle, Jaelyn, Kayla, Ashley. (Great-Grandchildren) Mckenzie, Mckaylin, Mia, Scott III, Oliva, Reiner, Charlie and Beau. (Neices and Nephews) Madison, Tina, Megan, Brett, Tyler and their children.

As per Rosalie “Faye” wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.

Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery at a later date. In the meantime, Rosalie “Faye's" family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honor her memory by sharing photos and/or memories and stories using the comment section on this page.
