With heavy hearts, we announce that Bob passed away on June 26, 2020 in the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71, after years of dealing with diabetes.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Merry; son Shane (Leya), daughter Farrah, and son Ryan (Leslie); grandchildren Jordan, Lauren, Summer, and Trevin; and sisters Jo-Anne (Brian) and Judy.

Bob worked for CNR Railroad for 32 year, retiring in 2005. He spent the last 15 years traveling south for the winter, camping, fishing, golfing, and watching his favourite NHL and MLB teams. One of his favourite activities was to host friends and family for dinner and loved to talk and tell stories. In the last years he enjoyed riding his scooter around the neighbourhood talking to the neighbours and racing the kids on the way to the mailbox.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Bob's life will be held when it is possible to gather. In the meantime, Bob’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above.
