WILLIAM "BILL" EWANCHUK

February 17, 1949 – June 28, 2020

It is with great sadness, that after a long battle with illness, we announce the passing of William “Bill” Ewanchuk on June 28, 2020 at the age of 71 years.

Bill is survived by his family; Julie and Brian, Jarett and Caitlin (their children Amaya and Hayden), Jordan and Stephanie (their daughter Olivia), Jayanne and Josh (their daughter Stella); brother Barry, as well as nieces and nephew. Bill has many cousins and friends who will also miss him dearly. Bill is predeceased by his parents Walter and Elsie, as well as his sister-in-law Debbie.

Bill loved going on adventures around Manitoba and was happiest when talking about his grandchildren; he will continue to live on through the memories of their kind Grandpa.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Benjamin Goldenberg, Dr. Bruce Kowaluk and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the love and support they showed all of us, especially Bill.

In accordance with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life for family and friends will be held at a later date. In the meantime, Bill’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by commenting in the comments section of this page.

A longer version of Bill’s life story and a photo-biography will be published here in the coming days,

please check back soon.

Bill, you will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts!
