It is with profound sadness that we announce that Jason has passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 36.

Jason is survived by his parents, Louise and Frank Ullenboom, and Gary and Tammy King; siblings, Steve King, Rob Maddaford, Jenna Ullenboom, Jessica (Shawn) McIntyre, Tawnya (Jason) Cormier, and Amanda Maddaford. Jason also leaves behind many aunts and uncles, grandparents, and a large group of friends who will all miss him dearly.
 
Jason had a huge heart and would not hesitate to help anyone in need. He was a free spirit and loved the outdoors. He loved all animals, especially his dogs, Zen and Grimy, whom he had tattooed on both of his arms. Everyone knew him as “That Guy”. He was the ultimate recycler and was always on a quest for unique items to give to his family and friends. He loved music and movies, and was always excited to recommend his favourites. He had an infectious laugh, a pure heart and a great sense of humour. Jason is truly one of a kind and is going to be deeply missed.

There will be no formal service at this time, however; an outdoor celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In the meantime, Jason’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above.
