CAUHLAN MACIVER
CAUHLAN MACIVER
June 27, 1989 - November 1, 2020
Cauhlan arrived June 27, 1989 and departed from us November 1, 2020 along with his loving dog Baxter and precious cat Loki. He grew up in St. Andrews attending area schools and finally M.B.C.I. He also attended Northwood University in Michigan.
His natural musical talents were always a calming influence in his life. He was an avid reader and had a bright and very curious mind. Cauhlan had a wide circle of friends that shaped each part of his life. Although he lost touch with some, those true connections will never disappear.
Even as he struggled with his own issues, he was committed to helping others. He successfully completed courses with the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba hoping to pursue further studies in this field. Because of his caring nature, he chose to make others people's pain his own.
Left with his memory are his parents Campbell and Heather, his brother Edan (Carmaine), his beautiful sweet Eva, aunts Karen (Gord), Shauna and Leanne, uncles Garry and Errol (Lynne) and many cousins.
"In my heart I will always remember your calm eyes and contented laugh. I will forever carry the unabashed hope, love, and courage you brought into my life. I hope you find peace and joy.
Love you always, Eva."
"You are my protector, my saviour, but most importantly you are my brother. And I will love you forever."
My Wonderful Son,
Of all the special gifts in life
However great or small
To have you as my Son
Was the greatest gift of all
A special time
A special face
A special Son
I can't replace
With an aching heart
I whisper low
I miss you son
And love you so
Even though his story came to a sad end much too soon, in remembrance of him his family will ensure that his goal of helping others will continue.
Forever in our hearts, we will never forget.
