JUDITH MARYANN MARSHALL
October 1, 1956 – October 8, 2021
With shock and disbelief, we sadly announce the sudden passing of Judy Marshall on October 8,2021.
Judy is survived by her parents, Donna and Wilf Hallett; sister Kim, and her children Jennifer and Ryan; brother Bradley; children Mike (Stacey), Jamie (Jennie), and Melissa (GW); grandchildren Wyatt, Quinn, Rory, Miles, Parker and Abigail; as well as her fur babies, Penny and Pepper.
She was predeceased by her common law partner, Paul Pelc (2020) and ex-husband Kim Marshall (2016).
Judy was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She joined the military where she met Kim. Shortly thereafter our family was started and raised during our postings to Chatham (NB), Petawawa (ON), Ottawa (ON) and finally home to Winnipeg (MB). She always made a welcoming and loving home, it was a homebase for her children’s friends.
Mom worked for many years with Jostens/Lifetouch where she met her amazing second family. She truly loved working there and spoke very fondly of her time with all of you.
She held friendships very close to her heart. Donna, she spoke a lot about you, and thank you for being her dear friend and supporting her.
In her retirement colouring became a passion of hers. Family was everything to mom. She loved her children so much, her parents, sister, brother, grandchildren and everyone in between.
Mom was a best friend; we could talk to her about anything at any time. She loved visits with her grandchildren, always had to have an XL triple triple coffee and was our daily political news lady (even though it drove us crazy!).
Would give anything to hear her voice again….
We love you Mom, you are in a better place, and we will be together again someday.
*Cremation has taken place. As per Judy’s request, there will be no service.*
**In lieu of flowers please donate to the Winnipeg Humane Society.**
❤️ We think she loved animals more than people sometimes ❤️
