I have had the pleasure of knowing Shirley for the past few years. But those few years were filled with cherished memories and many bus trips down to the states. Her and Jack were always so welcoming and kind to me and I will truly miss our friendship. Rest in peace dear Shirley and condolences to her cherished family.

My heartfelt sympathies to ALL the Addison family.  Shirley and I worked together in Ladies Fashions at Sears Polo Park.  Some people leave an imprint on your heart, and Shirley was certainly one of those special people.  I will always remember her warmth and kindness toward other people.  She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, which she was fondly known for, you could hear her laughter across the whole department.  We had many happy times together, coffee breaks, working together.  Ladies Fashions was a great place to work and Sears had a real sense of community, and everyone new Shirley and had a great fondness for her.  I will never forget you Shirley and remember you with Love, as always

Our warmest hugs go you Jack and your family. Shirley was our dear friend and neighbour (even when Jack and Shirley moved to Westwood) for almost 40 years. We were always welcome and could drop by anytime for a cuppa or a can of soup for a recipe. We will always remember the fun times and Shirle's smile. Neil and Val❤

On behalf of the entire Sobool family, please accept our sincerest, heartfelt condolences. We knew the Addison family when they were in Tisdale. My mom (Verna) and Shirley were good friends. When the Addison family moved to Winnipeg, that friendship continued and I recall several summer vacations towing our trailer to Winnipeg and parking in the Addison back alley. Fast forward a couple decades later, when I lived in Winnipeg briefly, I was always welcomed in the Addison home. Shirley treated me like one of her own children. And fast forward another couple decades, my parents (Steve and Verna) still made regular summer trips to Winnipeg, always visting Shirley and Jack, and always sharing good times. God bless Shirley! A wonderful soul who will be missed by many!

Our family is so saddened to hear of Shirleys passing. My mom (Della Woolsey) and Shirley were such great friends in their child raising years. I can remember every room in the little house in Tisdale. They shared many of the same qualities. Two gentle souls who enjoyed chatting over coffee and laughing. My heart and condolences go out to you all. A great loss indeed. Love Sandi (Woolsey) Ferguson

Our heartfelt  condolences to Jack, children and their families. We got to know each other in the early 70s. David & Jack worked together and it became a good time to have Holidays & fun together. Although our time together was short we could never forget Shirley's smile, always bubbly. When we moved to Alberta and our family put down roots, it became distant & short. Jack I miss those days. May the warm memories comfort & keep you now & always.❤

I will always remember  her laugh. She was always in the kitchen baking something, probably why I was there so much. This was so long ago but the memories  are still there. My condolences  go out to her family and especially  her daughter Colleen, whom I've  stayed in contact with for so many years. ❤

Our Heart felt condolences to the entire Addison Family. We had the opportunity to visit with Auntie Shirley last August, to see that wonderful smile on her face and the beautiful hug when she saw Auntie Judy was so hart warming. I always loved our visits with Auntie Shirley and Uncle Jack. Over the years Auntie Shirley was always offering a warm place to stay, a home cooked meal and loved to entertain. I loved our conversations together and will always treasure them.  I am thankful for the time we shared together. You will always have a special place in my heart.  Love Brian and Jill Holmes
