February 8, 1968 – April 30, 2026

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Brenda Aitken (née Karlenzig), a woman whose beautiful spirit, kind heart, and radiant smile touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

At the age of 58, she passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family and circle of friends who loved her deeply.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Walter; her daughter, Chantel; her stepson, Ryan (Crystal); and her beloved fur baby, Jet. She was a proud grandmother to Braydon, Ryder, Nevaeh, Maya, and Tayla, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.

She is also survived by her brothers, Ron (Heather) and David (Debbie), and her sister, Karen (Dean). She was predeceased by her parents, Melba and William Karlenzig.

She found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. Whether she was playing baseball, sharing laughs around a pool table, or sitting by a warm fire at the lake, she was always surrounded by the people she loved most. Those moments, filled with laughter and connection, meant everything to her.

Known for her ever-present smile and gentle, caring nature, she had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her kindness, warmth, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

She will be

forever remembered,

forever loved,

and never forgotten.
