Marlene Andrushko

MARLENE BERNICE ANDRUSHKO
(née LUNDBERG)
February 8, 1946 – December 28, 2025
Peacefully on December 28, 2025, Marlene Lundberg-Andrushko passed away. She asked to not be alone as she passed. She never had to worry because she was loved by so many who wanted to be by her side. Some gave their love from afar, some from the gifts they brought, some from their presence, some with hugs and kisses, some from stories, and some from the tears that they shed. They all gave their love to her as she had done for them.
Marlene will be lovingly remembered by her children, Greg (Denise), Daniel, Walter (Barica), and Parry (Rose); grandchildren, Kayla, Ainsley, Cody, Ryan, Matthew, Allyssa, Amy, Trent, Leesha, Alex, Paul, Patrick, Tim, Sarah, Caren, Cole, Grace, Hope, Paise, and Rory; great-grandchildren, Christian, Charlie, Dante, TJ, Jayce, and Fennec; sisters, Caron, Doreen, and Beatrice; brother, Barry; as well as many other extended family members and friends. Marlene lived for her time spent with her grandchildren, her jukebox oldies, Rod Stewart, and Johnny Reid.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Lottie Lundberg; husband, Leonard Andrushko; brother, Kenny; and sisters, Margaret, Sharon, and Eleanor.
Marlene worked at the nursing home in her early years. She then went on to raise her four children at home for many years. We will all remember Marlene for her quick wit, good times, and her love for Christmas. We will miss her dearly.
Special thanks to her granddaughter Allyssa for spending countless hours taking her to doctor's appointments.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Faith Church, 386 McGregor Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2W 1E6.
