Teresa Asham-Marsch

TERESA LYNNE
ASHAM-MARSCH
March 17, 1962 – March 25, 2026
It is with aching hearts, great sadness and deep abiding love that her family bid farewell to Teresa on Wednesday, March 25, at her bedside in Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.
Teresa was truly such a courageous fighter, battling brain cancer, enduring the chemotherapies, multiple surgeries, treatments and MRIs that she faced since that 1999 diagnosis.
Our Teresa very much loved:
Home time spent with her family and many lifelong friends.
Travel, particularly to Kinosota, Disney Orlando and the beaches of Mazatlan.
Hosting family get-togethers and office parties. Teresa was the organizer for sure.
And numbers! She had a real knack for being able to store them in her brain, to the point where she got kind of fed up, eventually, with us calling her for phone numbers... instead of using the directory! She did have an excellent sense of humour but sometimes enough is enough! As it turned out, though, numbers were her niche, which led to accounting as her career.
Teresa always loved learning, stayed current on computer and medical transcription administration, and excelled to the top percentile of her class in every pursuit.
She had a deep love of music of many genres, especially country and bluegrass. She got the chance to use her lovely singing voice too, first with sister Deb, her Dad and his guitar at an early age, then with favourite Uncle Stewie and later with friends Cathy and Crystal St. Germain and Debbie. Teresa sure could harmonize!
Our deepest thanks to the wonderful staff at BMPCH for their caring and kindness in her short sojourn there. How we wish it could have been so much longer.
Teresa’s cremation wishes have been honoured. Placement of her ashes will follow.
We lost a wonderfully kind, generous and loving person far too soon.
It’s a love without end.
Amen.

It was an honour and priviledge to walk with Teresa in her last season of life. The support from her mom was a testiment to who she was and how much she was loved. She is missed. We continue to hold you in our thoughts and prayers.

such a beautiful and loving memory and tribute to Theresa. It is with a heavy heart that I say her struggle is over and she's finally at peace. I will always remember her as that happy, vibrant and full of life young woman... on stage signing her heart out with sister Deb! May wings of angels lift you... love forever!
