DARRELL JAMES AUCOIN

March 18, 1960 - April 9, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Darrell Aucoin, Saturday April 9, 2022, at St Boniface Hospital, at age of 62.

Darrell is survived by his dad James (Sandra); sister Judy (Dennis); nephews Blair (Jennifer) and Colin; niece Amy (Colton). Also great nephews Morley, John, and Derek; and great nieces Sophia and Hannah. Darrell was predeceased by his mom, Louise Aucoin, and brother Robert Aucoin. Darrell was the oldest of 3 children, was born in St Jerome QC 1960, and was raised as "Military Brat"!!!

Darrell's passion in life was Tow Trucking and Classic Vehicles, his knowledge of them was amazing and he so loved to work on them and/or help out. Darrell was a very kind soul, always willing and wanting to help family and friends and not ask for much back.

We would like to thank the ICU staff for all your care and support for Darrell while in your care.

Remember me with a smile today,

I was not one for tears.

Reflect instead on memories

of all our happy years.

Recall to mind the way I spoke,

all the things I said.

My strength, my stance, the way I laughed.

Remember these instead.

Donations in memory of Darrell can be made to Winnipeg Humane Society and Heart and Stroke Winnipeg.

Darrell’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

I've known Darrell since 2003 When I had my car in the world the wheels that's where our friendship started. We both worked at bison🦬  transport, Since then we that a lot of conversations about classic cars and working on cars together, cruising, hrs of phone calls on restoring cars. Best time we had was when I  picked up  my chevelle SS,Darrell was as excited as I was. Sincerely missed  Brian

Darrell was a kind person, with a big heart. When Darrell came over, He would never say no to   apple pie and ice cream. Brian and Darrel had hours off  conversations about classic  cars. We will dearly miss him !! Maria and Brian Cadieux.

A truly beautiful spirit. We had a movie night at my mom's the night I went into labor with Kyle  We watched the Animal with Rob Schneider  Laughed all night so hard. An hour after movie night my water broke. I often think of that night Darryl, Gina and I, Great Chums!💕
