WILLIAM BAERBIG

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Baerbig on October 11th 2023 at St Boniface hospital.  Waiting in heaven to greet him is our Mom his first wife Darlene Baerbig.  He passed away with family by his side following a brief illness of cancer at the age of 76.

William worked at Palliser Furniture where he loved his job and did so for over 25 years, when he finally retired.

William loved his time at the cottage so much, this was the one place he would rush home from work and head straight out there, even his last few days he still talked about. 

William will be sadly missed by his wife Janice and her extended family, he will also be greatly missed by his loving daughters Heather Kulyk (Scott), and Nancy Wasylenchuk (Andrew), 3 grand children Emily Wasylenchuk, Rylan Kulyk, Reese Kulyk. William is also survived by his brothers, Benny, Rolf and Reinhart. He was predeceased by his parents, Martha and Rolf Baerbig; and sister Rose Schaefer.

We would like to thank Palliative Care at St Boniface hospital, for making Dads last few days comfortable. 

A service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday October 17th at Braeside Church 1011 Munroe Ave.
