THOMAS EWART BAKER

With broken hearts, we announce that Tom passed away on June 16th at Beacon Hill Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Judy; children Heather (Trevor), Angela (Mike), Amanda, Tim (Jodi); grandchildren Alexandra, Chloe, Grace, James, Sara, Olivia, Nicholas, Beatrice and Owen; siblings; Patti and extended family. He was predeceased by his son Kyle. 

Tom was born and grew up in Winnipeg. He was a very talented musician and he attended Sea Cadets until his late teens. He was a model train devotee, model air plane enthusiast and enjoyed hot air ballooning. He was also a gifted wood carver and an animal lover.

He was an avid genealogist and spent many hours researching family history. Tom loved to cook and had a special fondness for chocolate!

Tom was a generous man who would have done anything for anyone in need. He adored his family and his friends. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Beacon Hill for their loving kindness.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June the 22nd, 2026 at the Kildonan Community Church, 2373 Main Street, Winnipeg.
