My condolences to the Balzer family for your loss of Ray. I have wonderful memories of him as our coach at West End Memorial Community Club. Great fun, lots of laughter.
Ray, remember to order "...with fries, to go!"
Thanks Ray.

To the entire Balzer Clan and to his wife Linda and his children, my humble condolences. I cannot count the number of days, feverishly playing hockey on one of the rinks at West End Memorial Community Center, with at least one Balzer brother on the ice. Tommy comes to mind immediately.
Ray Balzer was my hockey coach. There are no better memories for a 60's and 70's kid from Winnipeg than those of playing outdoor hockey. We had fun.
Thank you Ray. And thank you to the entire Balzer family. Ray, you were "West End." So Ray, when you go up to that big burger joint in the sky, just say, "Make that two bear!" They will know. And all your team will remember.
Thank you!

Very sad to hear this news. My condolences to Linda and the entire family. I worked with Ray for many years forming a great friendship. We played baseball and socialised outside of work. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs together. RIP my friend.

Knew the family from the old West End Menorial Community Centre days playing all kinds of sports. Great family of brothers who were very close to each other. My condolences to Ray and his family.

Cousin Raymond was always that bigger, older, more commanding prescence in a room that was often filled with more boys than girls. As a kid, I remember him always "keeping the peace" and often wth that big smile that he, no doubt, inherited from hid Dad, Uncle Dave. We are sorry for this profound loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
