BRUCE BAXTER

November 1, 1959 - August 29, 2026

Bruce passed peacefully with his wife Linda by his side.

Bruce loved to curl, golf, and a rousing game of cards. In retirement Bruce was happiest when puttering in the garage and garden, chatting with the neighbours, and hanging with the Trent Travellers.

Bruce is lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-one years, Linda Ericsson, his sister Cheryl Vogel (Travis) and their sons Cole and Tanner, his brother Steve Baxter and his sons Daniel and Matthew, Cheryl Baines, and his many friends. He was predeceased by his dad Bill, mom Doris, and sister Pattie.

I'll be forever grateful that

Bruce and I found each other

at the perfect time in our lives.

At Bruce’s request cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

'm sorry for your family's loss Bruce was a good guy. We had a lot of fun at the Villa. We jokingly called him the ghost because he would disappear without warning or saying goodby! RIP

I don't know if it was his demeanor or his classic facial expressions but Bruce could always make me laugh and smile.

My deepest condolences to Linda and his family, Bruce will be missed. R.I.P.

Well Rooster back in the 1900s. I think we had the best times of our lives. Pretty sure we were the only people ever that had a jet plane in their backyard to party in. We were young, and learning about life 🫣 You were always a den mother to that house and always kept Dave and I in check. I’ll never forget the day I left to head west  waving at you and Dave in the driveway knowing that that was an end to a chapter in all of our lives, and probably the best chapter of our lives. There’s not too many days that don’t go by where I don’t recall your grounding words. (Well that’s just stupid and why would you do that ). Most of the time I never had an answer other than it made me think? Your laugh is one the creator could never be able to replace. Your you glare that always made me feel guilty . I truly know the best thing that ever happened to you is Linda and I’m so glad that you two found each other?? Even though there was mileage and time between us, the deepness of our unquestionable friendship will forever be there. Linda, we all know your Bond is unbreakable You’re both so blessed to have the time together. May your heart be filled with good memories and good friends !! Rooster you’re in great company until we meet again may the creator protect your soul, and when the full moon shines, I know you’re looking down on us along with everyone!!            B&T
