BERNICE MARIE BEER

(née TURK)

October 6, 1927 - October 25, 2023

Passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness, at 96 years of age. 

​

Predeceased by parents Albert and Josephine; siblings Wanda, Ludy, Charlie, and Helen; and husband Harold. Survived and missed by daughter Colleen, and much-loved cat Emme. 

​

Over the years, Bernice and Harold enjoyed many gatherings and get togethers with family and friends, and it was her memories of those good times that she spoke most fondly of. 

​

A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at St. Boniface Hospital A7West for the exceptional care they provided.

Aunty Bernice &uncl.e Harold, 2 equally wonderful people, probably just as responsible for my getting through 1st year science at U W as I was. She often spoke of being an actress,she was just that beautiful, inside and out.

Harold was my mother's cousin (Audry/Ardy) I have thought about Bernice often over the years and had lost track of her. We used to at least exchange Christmas cards at one time. I remember Harold and Bernice coming over to my parent's place for parties, our visiting them at their place. They even attending my wedding. I wish I had tried harder to keep in touch. I am sure that I still have pictures of my parents with Harold and Bernice when they were young. Colleen, my thought are with you. ❤
