BERTRAND (BERT) LOUIS JOSEPH BERRIAULT

March 29, 1967 - August 7, 2022

At 55 years of age, Bert left this earth to join his mom and dad and several cherished pets.

He had struggles in life but one thing remained true, he had the most generous and loving heart. He had a great love for all animals, but his precious Gizmo kept his heart to the end. Bert was lent to us for too short a time, but we are all left with memories to look back on and keep close.

The heart that had always been so open, and so giving, in the end, gave up and set him free.

I met Bert awhile ago through his sister, he would come over to help her do things around the house. He was a generous guy, funny. He would take my nephew Andrew go-carting, they had a lot of fun.he wouldn’t leave Andres out always thought of other people, more then himself. RIP Bert. Your time here was short but you earned your wings..Monzie and Andrew😳

❤My Uncle Allen was always caring and kind to me. I am his niece from his sister Roberta. Since I was 17 yrs old my Uncle has been in my life. Although we both moved back and forth from one side of Canada to another we still managed to look for each other and things picked up like we never skipped a beat. My Uncle would have done anything for me and I for him. Towards the end he felt he didnt have a reason to go on. He suffered in tremendous pain and wasn't able to live on his own or care for himself. He spoke of wanting to be with his family in heaven as he had several close calls the last year and was hospitalized. The stress and struggle was too much. I love him and because of that I am glad that he wont have to panick worrying where he will lay his head or when his next heart attack will come. I am happy that he gets to be with his family in heaven and im positive that my mother and his mother and father and many aunties and uncles and grandparents welcomed him with warm smiles and hugs.  Good bye Uncle Allen till we meet again!  Finally you are resting in peace. Your loving neice Diane.❤

One of my favorite childhood memories is playing Hide & Seek in the dark.  Bert was small; slipping into the shadows, he was impossible to find.  Loved & never forgotten. Peace at last.
