Ida Bibeau
IDA BIBEAU
(née LAURENDEAU)
September 21, 1947 - April 20, 2023
On April 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, Ida Bibeau (née Laurendeau) passed away peacefully.
May she be reunited with her loved ones that have paved her way: her parents Adélard Laurendeau and Rita (née Beaudry), her first love Roger Leclair, her sisters Germaine Van Den Bussche (Marcel) and Yvonne, her brothers Léon, Paul and Gil, her brother-in-law Camille Ledoyen, her nephews Robert Ledoyen and Paul Verrier and her niece Jocelyn Trudeau.
Ida will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Raymond Bibeau, who loved and took care of her unconditionally for the last 20 years, her children Marc Leclair (Annette), Ron Leclair (Ginette), Brigitte Brown (Ryan), Collin Sabourin (Natasha), her grandchildren Christian, Malik, Luna, Maelle and Milo, her brothers Lucien (Rita), Emile (Nancy), Marcel (Gudrun), her sisters Laurette Champagne (Paul), Yolande Tallaire (Ron), Irène Ledoyen, Henriette Verrier (John), her sisters-in-law Diane, Lucie and Denise, the Bibeau family, the Leclair family, multiple nieces and nephews, Dinah, Mona and countless number of friends.
Loving wife, mom, « mémère », sister, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbour, Ida was a strong, generous, patient woman with an incomparable sense of humour. She was a business owner, an accomplished hairstylist and a creative seamstress. Always willing to help, this superwoman wanted to do it all. Despite her recent health challenges, she continued to work and help others whenever she could. Her courage and strength were an inspiration to us all. We feel blessed to have had this woman in our lives.
We would like to thank the many patrons who over the past 38 years supported her business, Christian Supply Centre. Thanks also to the palliative care staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and compassion that helped carry us through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to CancerCare Manitoba.
You are free now, Ida. Go dance the twist and wow them all with your hula hoop skills. Until we meet again!
In accordance with her wishes, a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
