Bonnie & Blanchard Family,
Sincere condolences on the passing of Dora. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
Sad that Dora is gone so early! She was such a great lady & was a great HR manager that was always very helpful to me as a manager & had a great sense of humour. I always appreciated the great advice & help she provided to me in all my Human Resources dealings.
I was happy to see her a last time at one of our Parks Canada Retirees' Luncheons.
All the best in this difficult time!
Louis

She will be sadley missed Dora was the pldest of the girls in our family Darlene ( (deceased at 46 yr.old ),
Marlene (deceased at 69 ) and me being the youngest girl and our younger brother Patrick. Dora was a kind& giving indivual. our dad Bill passed at 53 our Mom Cecila passed at 69with most of our family passing so early : Dora was always my tower of strengh in knowing I could live too be an enjoyable old age I always looked up to her as my Hero she gave me strengh and indurance to carry on after our losses
She was the one that taught all us girls to dance, ride our first bikes and cook .Dora and Elmer( husband ) brought me on my first car ferry ride across to PEI I was only twelve but I was so scared this big ferry with all these cars I thought we would sink but Dora helped me through the ride by occupying me with stories and of course ice cream. Dora was a picture perfect bride i was 11 at the time and I wanted to be as beautiful as her when I got married. Dora taught me many lessons like shareing and it would come back to you twice fold. Dora was very athletic she was a good swimmer ad loved dogs she always had at least one most the time two she exercised them cause they were big ones and needed to be ran on a daily basis I share her love of dogs.
Dora raised Two beautiful girls and a good majority of the time on her own as her husband Elmer was in the army and posted all over the world . She always came through with flying colors no matter what .
Iwill miss me big sister , she is nowin a more restful place relaxing . RIP Dora you have more than earned it .
LOVE you always

Her sense of humor, her kindness generosity, and selflessness are qualities that stick out when I think of my sister Dora. She’ll be missed but never forgotten by our family or anyone that has met her.
