RICHARD GENE BLANCO

June 11, 1977 - January 27, 2021

It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Rick Blanco, on January 27th 2021. He was predeceased by his father Wayne; and grandparents, Wesley, Vermer, Cyril and Angnes.

He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his passing his mother, Marlene and Savannah Rae; partner Hope, with step-daughters, Skylar, Charley and Jayden. His brother Mark; sister-in-law Kim; niece Kyla; and nephews, Reid, and Ryan. His sister Natalie; nephews, Ayden, and Dakota; as well as niece McKenzy. Special Aunt Dede, and Uncle Ted. Also, many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Rick was employed at NRG as an HVAC technician. A company he enjoyed working for very much as he had a great bunch of co-workers.

Rick deeply loved his animals. They were always considered the 4-legged kids. Chevy and Nova (the dogs), MC, Lukey, and Mr. Cow (the cats) miss him dearly. All were rescues as he was never afraid to take in an animal that needed a soft place to land.

Rick absolutely loved the outdoors. Fishing, Snowmobiling, Camping and exploring new adventures with Hope.

He was known for his practical jokes, His kind heart and the big grin on his face. Wooooo! He loved socializing with numerous friends. Always enjoying his backyard after a hard day’s work.

We will miss you Rick. Always and forever. We never got the chance to say goodbye. We will carry you in our hearts forever and remember you always.

Love you son, brother and friend. Until we meet again, rest in peace.

“Love you, Bye”

As best as they come. Rick was an amazing person, someone you could always talk to about anything, knowing he would always be there to help. I enjoyed all the time we spent together, and will always wish for you to be there in the future, when Reid and I are at the lake. Rest easy Rick

Growing up with Reid, Ryan, Kyla, Kim and Mark it was very clear family was very important to all of them. I was blessed to meet Richard a number of times. He had a very friendly kind soul. I always wondered as a kid why Reid was RB2 and Ryan was RB3 and that's because Richard was and always will be the original RB1. Like any Blanco man they are tough but have that friendly joking around touch.  My condolences to the Blanco family, May Richard peacefully rest in heaven. Love you guys -Big Nick Ingleson

I was deeply saddened to hear about Rickie B’s  passing.  He was a long time friend of my daughter's for many years and he was always kind and polite when all the kids came over to visit. I will always remembered him as a kind caring young man with such a good heart and with a open mind to learn new things.  My deepest condolences to Richards Mother and Family.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and may you find comfort and strength in the times ahead.Yvonne Corbett

Our condolences to Marlene and the whole family.  One time sledding with Rick I took an unexpected flight into the air leaving my sled. Rick was the first one running to me in a foot of snow to help me as he thought me for dead. Then I got up laughing. Woooo!!! That was Rick. Just a great guy with a welcoming smile and ready to help out.  WOOOOOO!!!! Rest In Peace Bud. Too young man.  Dennis and Wendy
