JAYNE MARIE BOND

Jayne passed away at the age of 65 on June 19, 2022, peacefully, at home, surrounded by family and friends, after a 10-year battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her parents Barry and Joan Bond (née Kelly) of Arnprior, Ontario.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Kayde Bond of Winnipeg, who was always her pride and joy.

Jayne is also survived by sister Mary Lou Pierrard (née Bond) and her children, Louise (Mike), Thomas and Matthew; her sister Anne Azuma-Bond and her children Scott (Chelsea) and Jaime; her niece Lindsay Lefave (Megan), and her children Xander and Scarlett; as well as niece Ashlea Burrows (nee Bond).

Jayne graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, and a Certificate of Criminology from Red River College. She worked at Manitoba Health for 37 years and part time for over 20 years in resource protection for Sears and Eaton's.

She had many special friends that are too many to name, but they all know who they are.

Thank you to all the caring doctors, nurses, and hospital staff that she encountered. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Care Manitoba would be appreciated.

Jayne's family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Kayde, MaryLou, Anne & the Bond family, Our deepest condolences.  Jayne had such a wonderful character.  She was full of fun, joy, laughter and a wicked sense of humour.  Her Dad would tell us wonderful stories about her time working in security and how proud he was of her.  Truth be told, I think he was living vicariously through her job at Sears because he was always giving her hints and tips.  We will dearly miss the visits and the fabulous dinner conversations with her.   Marie & Ed
