Heard the service was lovely. Would have been there but were snowed in.

Auntie Janice was a hoot. She had a big heart and your parents were generous to all. They took me in for a time after high school while I waited for nursing school to begin. This country bumpkin needed lots of tutoring on how city life worked. Always looked forward to seeing her whenever you were out. I know it's been a tough couple of years for your family but take pride for all you have done...just remember all the good days!

We sure miss your mom (and your dad) in our life. Your mom was one of kind: quick-witted, generous, and full of spitfire. Her friendship and caring will be carried with us always.

So sorry to hear of Auntie Janice's passing. She was an intelligent, well spoken spitfire who liked to have a lot of fun. Definitely lived up to the red hair! Reminded me so much of her Mother.

Auntie Janice was such an inspiration. Smart, funny, opinionated, caring and always quick witted. And her laugh. I can still hear it. Loved spending time with her and Bill when I lived in Winnipeg after high school. Many happy memories with those two who often invited us over for supper and who were always the life of any get together!
