DEBBY BRAUN

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Debby on September 14, 2023 after a short illness.

Debby will be lovingly remembered by her children Dustin (Brandi), Tyarra (Jean-Michel); grandchildren Jersey and Brooklyn; sister Kim; mother in law Rita; brother and sister in law Rick, Donna (Brent); nieces and nephews Lindsey, Randi, JJ, and Ricki; as well as many cousins and friends in the Brandon and surrounding area.

Debby spent many years in the service industry in Oak Lake, Russell, and Brandon. She continued that service as an active board member for many years at Lawson Lodge. Debby enjoyed a good game of Bingo; she was lucky, once purchasing the winning duck in the Red River Duck Race in Winnipeg. She had a love for frogs, she surrounded herself with a collection of ornaments, pictures, and everything knick knack frog that family and friends would bring as gifts from around the world.

In her earlier years she loved camping, especially long weekends in the summer, spending time with family. Holidays were her favorite time of the year, when all of her family would come together. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Words can’t quite express how much you will be missed. In our hearts and thoughts forever.

As per mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
