PHILIP BROWN

Phil was born in 1967 at Red Lake ON, with many happy childhood memories at Weagamow ON.

He spent decades in Winnipeg’s West Broadway area and was known to many.

Phil had a generous heart and when he was able, he shared with what he had. He enjoyed woodworking, laughter, and being with his family and friends.

Phil was a fierce backgammon player and many days were started with a crossword puzzle. His fishing habit netted him two master angler awards from the Assiniboine.

Phil left us on August 3, 2023. He leaves a daughter Selina Spence, and three granddaughters, Shylah, Kaylee and Payton. Also grieving are his father Bert Brown, sisters Ruth Gibeault, Deborah Lavoie and Miriam Dysart, and his brothers Dan and James (Bingo), his best friend.
