JIMMY “JIM” BURJAN

December 14, 1958 – July 19, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the rather sudden passing of our beloved Father, Grandpa, Uncle, and Friend. Jim passed away at his home on July 19 at the age of 64 years.

He is survived by his two sons; his daughter in-laws; and his favorite people in the world, his grandchildren, Kevin (Carissa, Whitley, and Tripp), Bobby (Claire, Brielle, and Dax). He is also survived by his sister Edith; and too many nieces and nephews to list but they all had a special place in his heart.

Our Dad was a kind and loving man who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was always there to lend a helping hand or drop everything to come and look after the grandkids. He had a love for fishing and the outdoors that will live on forever through his kids and grandkids. Although the last several years of Jim’s life weren’t easy (complications from his burn injury and pancreatitis), he always tried to put on a brave face and never wanted to burden anyone with his struggles or the constant pain he lived with.

Rest easy Dad, we love you.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30pm, August 16, 2023 at the La Salle Community Center, located at 80 MB 247 in La Salle, MB.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mamingwey Burn Society. This foundation had a special place in our Dad’s heart.
