KEITH ROBERT BURLING

February 4, 1963 - March 11, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Burling; spouse, father, brother, uncle and friend at the age of 60 years old in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Keith is predeceased by his parents Richard and Shirley Burling; brother Trent Burling; his mother-in-law Marlene Kullman; and brother-in-law Alfred Kullman.

Keith is survived by his life partner Lisa Kullman; their son Brett Burling; daughter Keri Burling; his siblings, Susan, Gloria Nadon (Omer), Glen (Darlene), and Dean (Dawn); sister in-law Linda Burling; his twin sister Karen Robertson (Don); as well as his in-laws, Karen Glaicar Jim (Shelley), Mike (Shari), and Chris (Claudette); along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Keith was born and raised in St. Vital, and worked for Manitoba Hydro for over 30 years, he retired at age 55 and enjoyed his retirement surrounded by his loved ones.

Keith was always the life of the party and never one to turn down a good time, or a cold beer. He had a heart of gold and will be truly missed.

As he would always say “Is a bell necessary on a bike?”

A celebration of Keiths life and legacy will be held at a later date.

Keith's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Keith you are a big part of my memories of growing up and I am sorry for your loss Lisa and kids and Karen and family.   You always made us laugh with your antics and your quick wit.    I remember clearly the day you and Joe rode up on your bikes and we became forever friends.  And then to throw us all into poor Ms. Reimers class for grade 5 what were they thinking?  To many good times to list.   Rest now friend

Keith, it was a pleasure to call you a brother of mine. Tina and I will cherish all of the memories we have made together. Sending our love to Lisa, Brett and Keri during this difficult time. We love you all.

Lisa I’m sorry for your loss. Growing up on Hindley we all went to school together and always had fun especially on the way. Those were the days my friend. ❤ Your friend Frankie Harrow

from Wayne Meilleur - from when we were young, we would laugh and play together all the time. We were great friends. I remember seeing Keith just before he retired and was really looking forward to his retirement. I’m glad he enjoyed it to the fullest even if it was for a short time. Rest in peace buddy. Our deepest condolences to his family. ❤❤
