DONALD BURTNIAK

With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our brother and uncle Don on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the age of 75.

He was predeceased by his wife Audrey; and his parents, Mathew and Lydia.

Don is survived by his sister Judy and partner Len; brother Bob and wife Shelley; nephew Dax and wife Jessika and their boys Kason and Braxton; nephew Reiss and fiancé Karli; along with numerous cousins.

Don was born October 26, 1950 in McCreary, MB and grew up and lived in Stony Mountain until he married Audrey and moved into Winnipeg where he lived until his passing.

He enjoyed the cottage, fishing, bowling, bingo and playing the slot machines at the casino. Don also loved watching the Winnipeg Jets & Blue Bombers. He even shared Jets 1.0 season tickets with his parents and brother.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private interment will be at a later date.
