DOUGLAS “DOUG” CLARK
February 2, 1948 – January 28, 2025
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Douglas Clark of Winnipeg on January 28,2025 at the age of 76.
Doug was born in Fort Rouge and spent his entire life in Winnipeg. As a youth he was involved with the Air Cadets and, as he grew older, developed a love of photography.
Doug was also an accomplished snooker player, spending many Saturday afternoons at the Orpheum with other enthusiasts.
He was a valued employee of Westburne / Wolseley Plumbing and Heating Supplies, preparing quotes for numerous large construction projects for nearly 40 years, only missing one day during that time.
Doug was well known for his sharp wit and dry sense of humour. He also had a love of cats, and there was always one present.
Doug is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda; brother Jim of Toronto, and twin brother Don of Winnipeg; cousins, Jo-Ann and Bruce also of Winnipeg; as well as extended family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Doug's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
As per Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to Ethical Death Care. Doug’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

My deepest sympathy to Linda and all of Doug's family and friends.
I have many fond memories of Doug from my days working at Westburne.
I am grateful to Doug for introducing me to Nutty Club Peanut Butter and for sharing his extensive record collection with me-everything from early Fleetwood Mac to Frank Sinatra.
I always appreciated his wicked sense of humour. I can still picture him with a mischievous smile and a twinkle in his eye!
May his memory bring comfort in your time of grief.
