HERBERT EARL CLEARWATER

1946 - 2023

Herb finished living on September 9th and transitioned into the Spiritual World at Grace Hospice.

 

He will be remembered by his sisters Marj Dunn (Fred), and Patti Johnston (Dave), his closest friends Henry Falconer and Leslie Beaulieu as well as our very special cousin Maxine.Bryan. He thought highly of his nieces and nephews; Robyn, Greg, Bryan and Olivia.

 

Herb was born in Carman and predeceased by his parents Earl and Elsie Clearwater. He began his career in health care at Municipal Hospital in 1967. He continued with gigs at Vancouver General, and New Westminster. He spent six years in Hawaii working on a taro farm then returned to Winnipeg working at Health Sciences in Orthopedics and finally with Tissue Bank MB.

 

Family, friends, colleagues and pets will remember him as a kind and gentle soul.

 

As Herb requested a private service will be held.

Herb's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Condolences to his family.  I first met Herb in 1966 and remained in occasional contact over the years.  I left for post-graduate studies in the UK in  1968 but we did manage to reconnect for a meal when I visited Winnipeg.
