KYLE NATHAN COMBER

November 26, 1993 – July 30, 2025

It is with great sadness I am announcing the sudden death of my beloved husband, Kyle Nathan Comber, on Wednesday morning, July 30, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital. Many heartfelt thanks to the staff for trying to resuscitate Kyle. You were all very kind.

Kyle is survived by his loving wife Sharla Brucki Comber, his mother, grandparents, brother, 2 sisters and their families including many nieces and nephews and great niece, his Mother-in-law,3 brother-in-law’s and their families including 3 nephews and 1 niece, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many family friends.

Kyle was the youngest of 4 children. He was born in Alberta and the family moved to Winnipeg when he was an infant. Kyle was very proud to have graduated with his grade 12. He was a very gentle and kind soul and very generous with what he had. I always felt his deep committed love for me.

Kyle worked very hard in construction and LABOUR work. He was very conscientious and a good worker. The people he worked with respected his work ethic and leadership. I have been told by some that he was a rare individual.

Kyle loved the game of chess and was a member of a chess club that met at The Forks every Saturday. He was an extremely good player and won many chess tournaments. He had a large library of chess books and studied them in great detail to improve his game. It was amazing how great he was becoming at the game. He was passionate about passing his love of chess to others and would challenge visitors to the house to a chess match. He was very patient at explaining the game.

Kyle also loved our dogs and took them for walks regularly. Kyle loved going to the movies and buying a huge popcorn for us to share. He enjoyed cooking and developing new recipes. He loved making huge breakfasts on the weekends.

Kyle had aspirations and life goals he was passionate about. My heart aches that he never will have a chance to complete them.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making contributions in Kyles memory to Manitoba Heart Association

Rest easy Kyle,

‘til we meet again!

You are so loved!
