HELEN CONNORS
(née Nepinak)
On Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, with her family by her side, Helen passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital. Mom was the centre of our family and leaves us with a legacy of love, kindness and generosity. Mom was a strong woman, a fighter who overcame many adversities throughout her life.
Mourning her loss are her loving husband of 55 years, Tom; daughter Sharon (Tom); son Sean (Peggy); grandchildren Dylan, Nathan, Haley and Tatum; sister Shirley along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Boniface ICU Med/Surgery staff, especially nurses Janelle and Shelly and Dr. Olafson. Your care and compassion for our mom was truly exceptional.
No formal service will take place at this time as per Helen’s wishes. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
Flowers and donations are gracefully declined, instead please do an act of kindness.

My heartfelt condolences to Helens family.
Tom and Helen were very good friends too my father Alpheus (Alfie) Snowbird, and my mother Louisa Snowbird ( nee Nepinak).
My memories of Helen include always laughing and joking with my father and mother along with her husband Tom, who I always pictured in my mind as Hulk Hogan. I remember Toms garage where he fixed old cars, and Sean's drums. Sharon telling me to stay out of her room lol.
Helens laugh and smile will be missed.
