Brian Corrie

BRIAN DONALD CORRIE
February 1, 1959 – August 7, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian on August 7, 2026, at the age of 67. He is now reunited with his loving parents, Eleanor and Donald Corrie.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Christine Corrie (Rejean Robichaud) of Fredericton and Kathleen Burton (Colin) of Winnipeg; his nieces, Carolyn Munroe (Peter) of Winnipeg, Dixie Wortman (Jody Reid) of Fredericton, Hayley Bowie (Cameron) of Fredericton, Carly Burton (Christian Requerme), and Jenna Burton (Rhofert Castillo), both of Winnipeg; and his great-nieces, Ava Reid and Riley Bowie of Fredericton.
Brian retired from Magellan Aerospace in Winnipeg in March 2014 after 35 years of dedicated service. He was fortunate to retire at the age of 55 and was very happy to enjoy his retirement.
He found great enjoyment in spending his time working on cars and building model airplanes, always taking pride in the time and care he put into his projects. He also loved attending air shows and took great pleasure in living near an airport, where he could watch the planes and identify the different aircraft as they came and went.
Brian had a deep love for animals and found great comfort and companionship in their presence. Throughout much of his life, he was fortunate to have a furry friend by his side, providing him with loyal companionship and many special moments. His affection for animals was a reflection of his gentle and caring nature, and they held a special place in his heart.
In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Brian preferred a quiet and private farewell, surrounded by the memories of those who knew and loved him.
