CHARLENE CREASER

(née REID)

March 27, 1962 – November 24, 2023

It is with sadness yet fond memories that we announce the passing of Charlene Creaser (nee Reid) at the age of 61, after a lengthy battle with respiratory illness.

Char passed peacefully on Friday November 24 at home with family by her side.  Char was born, raised and lived in Winnipeg’s Crescentwood area, and attended both Rockwood Elementary and Grant Park High School where she developed many special life long friendships.  She later attended Winnipeg’s Adult Education graduating as class Valedictorian.  Prior to her long-term disability Char worked for many years with the folks at Park Pontiac.

Char was predeceased by her father Wallace, mother Patricia, step father Keith Huckle and in-laws Donald and Rachel Creaser.  She is survived by her husband Craig, brothers Bill (Kath) and Kelly (Diane), children Ramah (Patrick) and Zach (Delaney), grandchildren Alina, Emma and Bennett as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and several cousins and good friends.

Char and her family would like to thank her Home Care and Health Care teams at both Riverview and the former Lions Place.  Also special thanks to her Palliative team who cared for her so lovingly during her final days.

At Char’s request there will be no service. Also, in lieu of flowers, Char had requested that you help Mother Earth breathe by planting a tree or bush in her memory. Alternatively, you could make a donation to the charity of your choice.

Gone but lovingly remembered.

Rest in Peace.
