LINDSEY KELLY DAHLIN

July 12, 1983 - June 24, 2022

With heavy hearts, we announce that Lindsey passed away on June 24, 2022 at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at the age of 38 years.

She will be missed dearly by her father Paul (Barb), brother Derek (Jenn), and sister Bobbie-Jo. She is now in the loving arms of her Mother, Charlene Dahlin (Morley) and all her Grand-Mothers. She will be forever remembered by all her amazing aunties, uncles, grandfathers, niece and nephew and the many cousins and friends.

Lindsey was fun and bubbly, generous, kind and full of zest to those she loved. She had a laugh that could light up a room.  She was a free spirit and she adored all creatures especially her 3 cats. Lindsey was drawn to rescuing any creature that crossed her path – mostly cats – we have lost count of how many cats she had rescued.  She loved listening to music and enjoyed it as loud as possible – just like her Dad.

Lindsey will be greatly missed and we will cherish her memory always.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal rescue in memory of Lindsey.  She would love that.

In Accordance with the wishes of her family, cremation/burial has taken place and no formal service will be held.

God's Garden

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine.”

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone…
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
