ALYSSA DAVIES

With broken hearts we announce that Alyssa Davies has passed away at the age of 26 on May 22, 2022, after a lengthy battle to cancer.

Alyssa was diagnosed in December of 2019; she fought this beast long and hard - never giving up. Her final moments in life she talked us though her passing. She said she was ready to leave this world reassuring us it is her time to go. She asked us not to be scared because she was not afraid.

Alyssa leaves us a huge piece of herself as she leaves behind two precious beautiful daughters. Peyton McLellan (age 9) and Aidah McLellan (age 5). Every time we see them, we will see their Mom; they share the same beauty.

Alyssa also leaves behind her parents Darlene Davies and Craig Boychuk; sisters Kayla Davies (Austin Beddall) and Kimberley Davies (EytAn Kagan); as well as nephew Leo and niece Lyla. We will all miss her terribly and there will forever be missing piece to our family and our hearts.

Alyssa enjoyed life to the fullest she loved the beach. Grand beach was her favorite summer spot. Cancer or chemo couldn't keep her away from there. She also loved shopping and dining out with her daughters. AppleBees was their go-to place.

Alyssa was a spit-fire kind of woman. She spoke her mind and told it how it is. She took no nonsense. With saying that she also had a heart of gold and wore her heart on her sleeve. She will be truly missed by everyone who new her.

She was predeceased by her grandparents James and Georgine Davies and Robert Boychuk who were no doubt there to take her home that night to see the rest of the family up there.

She was the best momma to her girls showering them with love and adventures. She was the baker in the family we will all miss her desserts. She was the party planner making sure we planned well ahead of time. She was the one who worried about everyone especially her Dad. She would make sure she was here to help him shovel snow.

We will miss you, bear♡

A celebration of Alyssa's life will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11 am at the Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple at 825 School Road. Donations can be made there to the Salvation Army.

Alyssa was one of my best friends. We started hanging out in middle school. Weekend sleepovers, going to the dance, lunches at her house. Both of us having kids close in age. We sorta drifted apart during high school, as I moved away. But once I moved back to the city, it was as if we had been together all along. Conversation was effortless with her. We could not see each other for months, and you couldn’t tell.  She was an incredible person. Fiercely protective of friends and family, but she also wasn’t afraid to tell you when you ticked her off. Alyssa, I miss you so incredibly much. I’m happy your no longer in pain, and know you’ll watch over us all. Life just won’t be the same without you.  Love you my best friend, till we meet again.  ❤❤❤

I loved her so much. She was such a good mommy to my grand daughters. I know she did not want to die, as she would never leave those girls, but was harder for her to live being so sick.
